Tech notes:


This demo requires a flash or development cartridge with

■ 8 Megabytes capacity
■ Support for the SSF2 mapper

e.g.: TiTANDEV-MD, Mega Everdrive, ToToTek MD-Pro 64M

Due to extensive usage of a previously largely undocumented
hardware register, it will not run properly on all MD systems.

Our tests have shown that around 30% of Model I and 5% of
Model II systems experience issues. This is due to a change
in the manufacturing process of the video chip.

More detailed information will follow in the tech docs that
we'll be releasing in the coming weeks.

This demo will only run on PAL / 50 Hz systems.

At the moment, this demo will not run on ANY emulator.
Emulator developers can expect full support from us in order
to fix this (Please contact us!)

Petit retour d'expériences sur hardware réél selon SEGA-16 :

La démo tourne sur une flashcart Everdrive (limité à la dernière version en date -trop dommage-).

Sur une flashcart Tototek MD Pro 64 (disposant des 8 mega-octets requis) cela ne reste possible qu'en théorie, puisque le programme réagi comme pour un émulateur de type Kega (message warning). A venir, peut-être une ROM corrigée pour lancement sur Tototek.

Il n'y a pas de split prévu de la ROM, dommage là aussi.

Ce qui est vraiment interressant dans cette démo est l'exploration de fonctions non documentés offrant des visuels impressionnants qui différeront (artefacts) en fonction du modèle d'ingénierie d'asic & chip (les puces spécialisés des MD réorganisés en fonction des séries de consoles).

Félicitation à la team TiTAN, des exploits comme ceux là sont trop rare.
